This yoga weekend incorporates the life changing gifts of the Fascia Unravelled workshop and expands on the practices to include nonduality embodiment meditation.

Nonduality is the philosophy that underlying the diversity of everything we see and experience there is the same infinite and indivisible reality.

The McCarthy Yoga Weekend is about experiencing nonduality firsthand so you understand AND benefit from it. First, you’ll feel nonduality through the continuity of your own body and then through the continuity of yourself and the rest of the world.

We’ll begin the practice from one point of awareness and expand to the entire body. We’ll use different poses, movement techniques, breath, and meditation to develop a better sense of our space and connection.
You’ll unravel fascia into luscious, full body experiences where you can feel the forces of the earth, gravity, and your own movements rebound through your body. (It’s as fun and as playful as it sounds!)
You’ll be able to feel and live in a fuller expansion of yourself. You no longer have to choose between feeling and honoring what’s going on inside of you and what’s going on around you. You can experience both at the same time!
This weekend’s such an amazing progression of accessibility from separate parts towards feeling like a whole being.
Instead of trying to create space, learn to allow it.

From my experience playing with these practices over the last 6 years, embodiment feels like magical superpowers.
I’m so confident in the weekend’s sequencing to access these practices that I’ll guarantee improved internal access and more supported spacious poses.
Embodiment practices have been a well of joy and beauty to tap into and a respite for the suffering, conflict, loss, and chaos of the world. I’m sure embodiment has its limits like anything else, I simply haven’t found those limits yet. I imagine, like anything else, that embodiment practices can be harmful if practiced too quickly to accommodate sustainable integration. But as far as I’m concerned, if I could just remember to use these superpowers before I was suffering, I’d be all set.

Each session is designed to be sustainable for all levels and in addition to asana, practice may include meditation, discussion, and some ball rolling.

Friday
Evening Practice 4:30-7:00pm followed by a welcome dinner.
Saturday-Monday
7:30-10:00 am practice followed by a hearty breakfast and the entire day to play and discover McCarthy and Kennicott or to relax and restore.
